1. Subject

PowerCV offers you, as a User:

  • access to the service where you can provide your personal data using the CV creator to create personalized documents such as CVs and cover letters. These documents are stored in your Client Area, where you can modify and download them according to your needs
  • access to the PowerCV online store where you can purchase other powercv services.

These terms and conditions govern access to and use of the website.

By using the site, you agree to all the terms of these Terms and Conditions. By registering an account with PowerCV, you must confirm that you have read and accept the Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PowerCV.


2. Service Information

PowerCV consists of two websites:

  1. https://powercv.pl – an information page that provides general information about the PowerCV service.
  2. https://app.powercv.pl – an application where Users can register, log in and use the self-improvement and CV generation service.

3. Definitions

  • "Account”: the account you need to create to access the services offered by PowerCV.
  • "User”: an individual who registers an account and uses PowerCV services.
  • "Customer Zone”: a personal space where you can store, edit and download your documents.
  • "Document Creator”: a tool that allows you to enter personal data and create personalized CVs and cover letters.
  • "Services”: all products, services, content, and features provided by PowerCV, including the document creator, document storage, and other available features.
  • "Digital Content" – data produced and delivered in digital form, such as documents generated by PowerCV services.
  • "Digital Services" – services enabling the user to generate, edit and download digital documents within the PowerCV service.

4. Opening an account

A. Conditions
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

B. Creating an account
To access the services, you must create an account at PowerCV by providing your details, such as your email address. By creating an account, you undertake to provide true data. In order to obtain full account activity, it is also necessary to provide the data necessary to carry out the online payment process:

  • Name and Surname,
  • Address,
  • Optionally, Tax Identification Number and company name.

C. Password
You are responsible for the security of your password. PowerCV is not responsible for any losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

D. Logging in using external services
Users can create an account and log in to PowerCV using their Google account. By choosing this method, the User agrees to share the data necessary for registration with Google. PowerCV does not store passwords to Users' Google accounts and relies on authentication technology provided by Google.


5. Services

PowerCV offers a platform where you can:

  • Access the document creator,
  • Create, edit and store your CV and cover letters,
  • View and download your documents at your convenience.

6. User behavior

By using PowerCV, you agree to:

  • Not violating the rights of other users or third parties,
  • Not disrupting the operation of the service,
  • No creating accounts on behalf of other people.

7. Payments

  1. To access the full features of PowerCV, you must pay for a subscription.
  2. The subscription cost is published on the PowerCV website.
  3. After your subscription expires, access to the service is limited to logging in and paying for the service.
  4. VAT invoices are issued for all transactions in accordance with Polish law.

8. Copyright and Liability for User Materials

  1. User Copyright
    • The User declares that he/she has full and unrestricted copyright and related rights to all materials, content and data provided to the PowerCV service, including data entered in the document creator (hereinafter: "Materials").
    • All copyrights to the Materials remain the property of the User.
  2. Licensed to PowerCV
    • In order for PowerCV to provide services, the User grants PowerCV a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable and unlimited in time and space license to use the Materials in all fields of exploitation, including in particular:
      • storing Materials in PowerCV IT systems,
      • modifying and processing the Materials in order to provide the service,
      • generating, editing and presenting documents created based on the Materials,
      • making Materials available for the technical purposes of providing services (e.g. data transfer between servers).
    • The license granted to PowerCV automatically terminates upon permanent deletion of your account, provided that PowerCV may retain the Materials for the period necessary to resolve any legal disputes related to the use of the Services.
  3. User's liability for copyright and other third-party rights
    • The User warrants that the Materials submitted to the PowerCV website do not infringe the copyrights, related rights, intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.
    • In the event of any third party claims relating to infringement of rights to Materials provided by the User, the User undertakes to:
      • to take all actions necessary to protect PowerCV against these claims,
      • to compensate PowerCV for any damages incurred in connection with such claims,
      • to cover all costs of legal proceedings, damages, penalties and other liabilities associated with such claims.
  4. PowerCV Disclaimer
    • PowerCV is not responsible for the content or legality of Materials provided by the User.
    • Any consequences resulting from the infringement of third party rights by Materials entered by the User onto the website shall be the sole responsibility of the User.
    • You accept full responsibility for the Materials you submit and you agree to fully indemnify PowerCV against any claims, disputes or legal actions arising from the use of the Materials you submit.

9. Responsibility

  1. PowerCV to the fullest extent permitted by law, excludes its liability for any damages, including property and non-property damages, arising in connection with:
    • software errors, technical interruptions or other technical problems related to the operation of the service,
    • temporary or permanent unavailability of the service, regardless of the reason,
    • loss of data stored in the Customer Zone,
    • improper operation of the service resulting from the incompatibility of the User's devices or software,
    • delay in the delivery of services or their implementation,
    • any other events beyond the direct control of PowerCV, including force majeure.
  2. Complete limitation of financial liability:
    • PowerCV's liability, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the service to which the claim relates.
    • PowerCV shall not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, consequential damages, loss of reputation or any other non-direct damages.

10. Closing the account and the right to withdraw from the contract

  1. The user can delete the account using the option available in the "Profile" tab after logging in to the application or by sending an appropriate request to the following address: [email protected].
  2. The User who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from its conclusion without giving any reason, unless:
    • The digital service was fully performed with the User's consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period,
    • The user was informed about the loss of the right of withdrawal before the provision of the service began.
  3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User may send a statement by e-mail or use the form available under the "help and comments" button in the footer of the website.
  4. PowerCV will refund the fees to the User in a timely manner 14 days from receipt of the declaration of withdrawal, if the right of return is applicable.

11. Personal data

  1. PowerCV processes Users’ personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at: https://powercv.pl/polityka-prywatnosci/.
  2. Personal data are processed for the purpose of providing services, including:
    • Creating and storing documents within the Customer Zone,
    • Payment handling,
    • Contact in matters relating to the provision of services.
  3. PowerCV processes the data provided by Google in order to complete the registration and login process using the method Google Sign-In (Log in with Google), including email address and name. This data is used solely to provide the PowerCV services.
  4. The user has the right to:
    • Access to your data,
    • Their rectification, deletion or restriction of processing,
    • Data transfer,
    • Submitting a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

12. Changes to the regulations

  1. PowerCV reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  2. Users will be informed about changes to the Regulations in advance 7 days before the changes come into force.
  3. Using the website after the changes come into force means acceptance of the new Regulations.

13. Jurisdiction and applicable law

  1. These regulations are subject to Polish law.
  2. Any disputes arising from the use of PowerCV will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the registered office of the website owner, unless legal provisions require another court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Complaints

  1. The user has the right to file a complaint regarding the operation of the PowerCV service.
    on time 14 days from the day the problem occurred.
  2. Complaints can be submitted:
    • In writing to the e-mail address: [email protected], or
    • By mail to the following address: SolidBrain, ul. Wita Stwosza 50, 02-661 Warsaw.
  3. The complaint should include:
    • User Data (name, surname, e-mail address associated with the account),
    • Description of the problem that is the basis for the complaint,
    • Expected solution.
  4. PowerCV undertakes to consider the complaint within the deadline 14 days from its receipt. The User will be informed of the decision by e-mail.
  5. In case of no response within the deadline 30 days the complaint is deemed to have been considered positively. – in accordance with Article 7a of the Consumer Rights Act.

15. Online Store – Sales Rules

15.1. Definitions

  • "Online Store" – a platform available on the website [URL], enabling the purchase of products and services offered by PowerCV.
  • “Product” – a service or digital content offered for sale in the Online Store.
  • "Order" – a declaration of will of the User aimed at concluding a sales agreement for products from PowerCV, submitted via the functionality of the Online Store.
  • “Payment Operator” – an entity handling payment transactions in the Online Store.

15.2. Process shopping

  1. You can purchase Products by adding the selected Products to your shopping cart and then completing the order form.
  2. To use the store you must be at least 18 years old
  3. The order is placed when you click the "Order and pay" button.
  4. The sales contract is concluded upon confirmation of acceptance of the order by PowerCV.
  5. Confirmation of acceptance of the order for execution is sent to the e-mail address provided by the User and constitutes the moment of conclusion of the sales contract.

15.3. Payments

  1. Available payment methods include:
    • Payment cards (e.g. Visa, Mastercard),
    • Online payment systems (e.g. BLIK).
  2. Payment processing is carried out by a trusted payment operator.
  3. PowerCV does not store payment card or other financial information of Users.

15.4. Order Fulfillment

  1. Order fulfillment begins after:
    • confirmation of order placement by PowerCV,
    • the User's consent to the loss of the right to withdraw from the contract in the cases specified in Article 38 of the Consumer Rights Act.
  2. Digital products, such as documents generated by PowerCV services, are made available to the User upon confirmation of payment.
  3. Services are performed in accordance with the scope of the order and the deadlines specified when placing the order.
  4. In the case of digital services, the commencement of the order fulfilment is tantamount to the full performance of the contract, which, in accordance with Article 38, point 13 of the Consumer Rights Act, excludes the right to withdraw from the contract.

15.5. Invoices

1. For every order team PowerCV will issue a VAT invoice for your purchase.


16. Final provisions

  1. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved to PowerCV.
  2. If any provision of the Regulations is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
  3. The Regulations come into force on the date of their publication on the PowerCV website.
